It was the early 2000s. Paper logbooks rode in the cab, directions were written down, cost of diesel averaged just about $1.50 a gallon nationwide, and a familiar voice on the phone could make a long day on the road a little easier. Relationships mattered. You remembered who picked up, who followed through, and whose word you could trust.

That was the world where our founder learned trucking.

Working in operations and dispatch, she saw what it took to turn a truck into a business. The early starts. The late deliveries. The search for a backhaul that made the numbers work. The unexpected repair that could change an entire week.
